Welcome to Abaco Dive Centre's UNspoiled Abaco islands and more than 80 miles of the most pristine and unadulterated reefs in the world. We strive to offer the finest, safest and most ecologically sensitive diving in all of the Bahamas where most exciting reefs are in the thirty-foot depth range and wall dives generally take place around one hundred feet. We also offer Blue Hole and wreck diving.

In the interest of safety, Nitrox I and Nitrox II (SafeAir) are available to those who are certified and wish to avail themselves. Our custom-built dive boat is U.S. Coast Guard Certified which allows you to cruise in comfort, knowing that all safety equipment is on board. Our brand new 37' dive boat has the latest GPS navigation equipment, full communications, and is powered by two supercharged, turbocharged diesel engines (yes, it is quick). Our captain has twenty year's experience in these waters.

We strive to promote Safety and Ecology through Education and Experience. To help you with this, we provide a full range of educational opportunities from first-time-wearing-a-mask snorkeling to certified Divemaster.

With our Basic Resort Course, you can begin to dive with the certified divers in just a few hours. If you are already certified, we offer most of the PADI specialties. We are happy to accept your certification from any major training agency (PADI, NAUI, NASDS, IANTD, ANDI, YMCA, SSI, BSAC, CMAS, NSS, etc.) as proof of your accomplishments .

We are pleased to announce we can offer various certification and other education for the hearing impaired. All handicapped divers are welcome.

With such a diverse array (Ocean and Blue Hole) of dive offerings and specialties, it is hard to give a complete list of fees. Our fees compare favorably with other dive destinations, for instance, a standard two tank dive trip (with weights and boat trip) is priced at seventy US dollars.
