A wide variety of options are offered to anglers. Big Game fishing can be found just a few miles off shore. A 1,035 lb. blue marlin was caught in one of the many tournaments held annually in spring. The Green Turtle Club Annual Invitational Fishing Tournament (please Click HERE for news and updates on this year's tournament) attracts many of the top anglers in North America and has become one of the Bahamas' most important angling events. Grouper and snapper are abundant for those wishing to fish the reefs while the flats are home to the elusive bone fish which will challenge even the best of fly fisherman. Local fishing guides, charter boats, and boat rentals are available to personalize all your fishing needs. For golfing enthusiasts, the 18-hole Championship Treasure Cay Golf Course on mainland Abaco is a 20 minute water ferry followed by a 10 minute taxi ride away. The Dick Wilson designed course is considered to be one of the top golf courses in the Bahamas.
