About Us:

Island Property Management has an extensive portfolio of privately owned homes on historic Green Turtle Cay.

All are second homes and their owners' personal tastes make them unique and individual, adding to their charm. All of our homes are air conditioned, have well-equipped kitchens and are supplied with linens. In order to prepare your own meals if you desire, the kitchens have cutlery, china, glassware and cooking utensils.

The living rooms provide the perfect setting for relaxing with a book or watching a little T.V. (available by satellite in the majority of our rentals). There are always the holiday things that you can do, such as deep-sea fishing, fly-fishing, scuba diving (with Green Turtle's legendary Brendal), snorkeling, sailing and beach combing. You can even go sightseeing in our historic settlement, visiting our old jail, the museum and other points of interest. And, don't forget, there are lots of nearby islands to "island hop" and explore.

With convenient ferry service to Treasure Cay (just 4 miles away across the Sea of Abaco), and taxis and rental cars available near the ferry dock, the rest of Abaco is yours to explore.

How It Works:

Select the home that most fits your vacation needs from Island Property's extensive selection. After we receive your e-mailed (or telephoned) rental request, we will confirm with the owner that the property is available for your holiday dates. If your selection is not available, we will make alternate suggestions based on the type property you are looking for. We will get back to you, with an availability within 24 hrs of your request.

Before Island Property Management can guarantee confirmation of any reservation, a non-refundable deposit (percentage amount varies by property) of the total rental fee is required, payable by check in US dollars. Receipts will be sent within 5-7 days, with the balance due upon arrival. The price quoted is the total charge. All homes are non-smoking, however all homes have outdoor verandas where smoking is permitted.

Guests are responsible for their own house keeping services during their stay. However, we can provide housekeeping services on request and subject to availability. We can also assist with the booking of dive and snorkel trips, rental boats, dockage, golf carts, fishing guides and baby sitters on the island.

Although the idea of renting a home is total independence, you can (if you wish) ask us for help during your stay.

What happens when I arrive?

Upon arrival at TREASURE CAY AIRPORT you will need a taxi to transport you and your party to the FERRY DOCK. You then tell the ferry Captain your destination and he will deliver you to the proper location. Julie or Leslie will greet you at the ferry drop off point and escort you to your rental home.

We will give you the keys and orient you with the property to answer any questions you might have. We will also check in with you periodically to see is everything is alright with your accommodations.

Just a reminder about  our "out of the way Island": Although most of the businesses and restaurants now accept credit cards, the food stores DO NOT, nor do we have ATM machines on Green Turtle. There is only one bank, which opens twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.

Before you leave home -- call us!

We suggest that you contact us a day before your departure to arrange a ferry pickup, as there are several scheduled ferries to meet your travel needs. As we do not charge a security deposit on our rentals, the homes will be inspected for any damage. Although your rental fee includes housecleaning services after your departure, it will be the responsibility of the renter to leave their vacation rental in good condition.
