Born and raised on Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas, Ronnie Sawyer has been guiding professionally for over 24 years (his father was the first fishing guide on the island). A light-tackle and fly-fishing specialist who has been featured several times in Salt Water Sportsman, Ronnie knows the local flats and estuaries about as well as the fish themselves. He has taken bonefish up to 14 pounds, and knows how to locate and catch these wily fish regardless of conditions.

When he's not guiding, Ronnie commercially fishes for lobster.
