Cherokee Sound Pix

The pix on this page are limited since there's not a whole lot to photograph in Cherokee Sound. The road to Cherokee (as well as Little Harbour) off the Abaco Hiway is clearly marked (and produced by a talented local artist). Once you're on the road to Little Harbour or Cherokee, the way may not be as clearly marked.

The pix on the right was taken during low tide (average tidal flow is approximately 3-3.5 feet depending on moon and other factors). It's easy to see where the expression of "lot's of water ... but it's real thin" comes from.
